“To center myself, I turn to the gestures that feel like home: a coffee in the quiet of the morning, a flower picked just for the joy of it, a walk that clears the mind and softens the body. I go to see art, because it reminds me there’s more than the rush, the noise, the roles we play.

And then I come back, a glass of wine, a record spinning slowly, my dog curled up beside me. In these small rituals, I find balance.

Not because they solve everything, but because they remind me who I am when no one’s looking.”
