The Simple Studio
At MUNTHE, we want to run a sustainable and socially responsible business that creates value for our customers.
We know that working strategically with corporate social responsibility (CSR) makes sense to our customers and our business, both now and in the long run. We are continuing to integrate CSR into all aspects of our processes through the implementation of CSR policies and Codes of Conduct. MUNTHE wants to ensure that we have responsible supplier relationships by integrating environmental, social, and ethical standards and by focusing on impact and risk. We strive to maintain constructive relations based on dialogue and improvement, and we expect that our suppliers adhere to the same standards. The Supplier Code of Conduct defines MUNTHE’s requirements for suppliers in terms of their responsible business conduct. It is essential that our suppliers as a minimum comply with all applicable national laws and regulations and meet the requirements: The Code of Conduct is built on internationally recognized agreements that promote companies’ management of adverse effects on human rights, labor rights, environmental protection, and anti-corruption practices, among other things.
One of the core values for MUNTHE is to make high quality, long-lasting styles and The Simple Studio is designed based on those principles. The collection is made to be worn and loved, regardless of season and trends and 95% of all styles are made in sustainable materials; Organic cotton which is grown without the use of pesticides and GMO and more environmentally friendly to conventional cotton. Sustain viscose fibers from sustainable managed forests (using 50% less energy and water compared to generic viscose) and recycled polyester, which comes for PET bottles or recycled polyester garments (no virgin materials).
We have implemented the use of recycled plastic in the packaging of all The Simple Studio styles, all hangtags are sourced by responsibly managed forest and our labels are OEKO-TEX
