This initiative further builds on the current commitments that MUNTHE has made to support organizations like the Danish Women’s Society, Mother’s Aid, Plan International, and Little Big Help. For me, this is more than a business decision – it is deeply personal. I believe in the power of collective action and we are proud that we can contribute to foster meaningful change. MUNTHE: ANNUAL CONTRIBUTION TO WOMEN’S INITIATIVES

Starting in 2025, Naja Munthe has pledged to allocate 10% of the brand’s annual profits before taxes – the donation is estimated at approximately 500,000 DKK (67,000 EUR) for 2025 based on the 2024 yearly results – to support a diverse range of women’s initiatives. This decision highlights MUNTHE’s unwavering dedication to empowering women and fostering meaningful change.

The contribution will be made at the beginning of each year, calculated based on the previous year’s results. MUNTHE will ensure full transparency by publicly reporting the donations made, maintaining accountability and trust.

Funds will be directed toward organizations and projects that uplift women, provide access to resources, and promote equality. By investing in impactful causes, MUNTHE seeks to create a ripple effect of empowerment that resonates with the brand’s core values.

As part of this initiative, MUNTHE is proud to begin a collaboration with the Danner Foundation. Based in Copenhagen, the Danner Foundation is dedicated to eradicating violence against women and children, aligning closely with MUNTHE’s mission to support and uplift women.

This annual initiative is not merely a gesture, it represents a long-term commitment to amplifying women’s voices, providing tangible support, and helping women thrive across all aspects of life.


FEMALE EMPOWERMENT: A CORE COMMITMENT AT MUNTHE

Despite the strides made toward equality, gender inequality continues to hold many girls and women back. Women are frequently paid less, carry a disproportionate burden of unpaid domestic and caregiving responsibilities, and face greater financial insecurity. In some parts of the world, women are denied the right to vote, receive little or no pay, are excluded from education, and cannot even show their faces or speak publicly. These challenges severely limit their ability to make independent choices and diminish their capacity to influence social change.

At MUNTHE, we deeply believe that empowering women has the potential to transform the world for the better. Ensuring that women and girls have opportunities equal to those of men and boys is essential for building a more respectful, prosperous, and inclusive society. By supporting a life that parallels that of men—politically, professionally, and socially—we can create a world where women and girls thrive on equal footing.

This conviction underpins our commitment to using MUNTHE as a platform to advocate for gender equality. We actively support impactful initiatives such as the Danish Women’s Society (Dansk Kvindesamfund), Mother’s Aid (Mødrehjælpen), Plan International, and Little Big Help through yearly donations. From 2025, our contributions will extend to the Danner Foundation (Danner), an organization dedicated to eliminating violence against women and children.

Additionally, our MUNTHE ART MONDAY program amplifies the voices of female artists in the global art scene. Every Monday, we celebrate and showcase the work of talented women on our social media platforms, bringing their stories and contributions to the forefront.
